Elif Ince is an Istanbul based freelance journalist. Her reporting on urban and environmental issues has received awards from Turkey's Progressive Journalists Association (ÇGD), the Chamber of Architects, the Chamber of Urban Planners and People's Houses (Halkevleri). She worked as a reporter at daily Radikal between 2010-2014. She did research for the Turkey chapter (turkey.mom-rsf.org) of Reporters Without Borders (RSF) Media Ownership Monitoring project in 2016; helped launch a news portal on climate change and coal plants in Turkey (iklimAdaleti.org) during the climate summit in 2015 and wrote 30+ articles for a bianet.org series on activism in 1990s Turkey. She is among the editors of Networks of Dispossession (mulksuzlestirme.org), a collective data mapping project. She is a graduate of Brown University and Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
